The Soaring Health Story
Dr. Marco Makari has had a lifetime fascination with elite sports. His earliest memory was climbing the fence of Bob Jane Stadium (Lakeside Stadium) with his brother to watch Melbourne Victory play, in particular, their hero Archie Thompson.
As a teenager, he learned about fitness and the relationship between mindset, movement, food and health. Marco's passion led him to become a Chiropractor and later a Victoria committee member in the inaugural Sports Chiropractic Australia (SCA) committee. He spent years
working and traveling nationally & internationally with elite athletes and has witnessed the growth of local athletes into national record holders, Commonwealth Medalists and Olympic Champions.
Early 2012, Dr. Marco Makari established Soaring Health to support aspiring athletes reach their goals. This is where we share with you the ways in which you can take your sport & health to the next level, flourish under elite pressure and physically compete longer than the average Australian Athlete.

Soaring Health has received multiple service awards and featured in leading health and wellness magazines including Women's Health & Fitness and The Good Health. Dr. Marco has presented at leading national exhibitions including the Australian Fitness exhibitions & Australian Health & Fitness Expo.
Bianca is Soaring Health's Myotherapist. Bianca was the therapist for the 2016 Premiership side Western Bulldogs and a consulting therapist for Melbourne City FC. As an NPL soccer player herself, she understands the demands of high-performance sports. Bianca is experienced in multiple theraputic techniques including dry needling, cupping and heat therapy. Bianca has helped athletes and families overcome chronic pains and injuries through the complimentry use of massage, stretching and exercise techniques.
Nav Ahmad Khan
Nav’s passion for becoming a Physiotherapist comes from his innate nature to want to help people. He became fascinated with human biomechanics rehabilitation techniques and was interested in human movement and movement disorders throughout high school.
Being a rugby fan himself, he worked with local rugby union and league teams in NSW while obtaining his physiotherapy degree. He also enjoys cycling, hiking and has been training in mixed martial arts for 10 years.
